The problem
Full floor renovation completed for a large open-plan kitchen and living area. Existing flooring removed before installing wood-effect porcelain planks across the entire space.

Preparation
- Existing tiles removed, subfloor made good, then primed and self-levelled to create a flat, solid base.

The solution
- Specialist slip joints were installed to manage lateral movement between the original house and the new extension.
- Planks were laid on a precise 45° angle across the full space to create a seamless, high-end look using mechanical levelling clips.

- A level, durable floor that flows perfectly between rooms with no uneven edges.
