This bathroom tiling project was completed in Altrincham, Cheshire, an area where I regularly carry out residential tiling work. Projects like this often involve careful layout planning and attention to detail to ensure porcelain tiles align cleanly across walls and floors.
Preparation
- Full substrate assessment carried out before tiling commenced.

- Primary setting-out lines established to control alignment through circular feature and integrated storage niches.
Detail
- Bespoke mosaic lining for a circular window feature, requiring precise manual setting out.
- Two custom-recessed niches, aligned perfectly within the tile grid for a clean, balanced look.
Result
- A full feature wall installation, meticulously siliconed and finished to a high-end standard.
- A sophisticated, durable space where the technical execution of the awkward shapes is the main feature.
