The brief

Floor Tiling project, done properly.

This kitchen floor tiling project was completed in Lymm, Warrington — a good open space that allowed everything to be set out and installed properly. 300x600 porcelain tiles were laid in a brick-bond pattern on a self-levelled base with mechanical levelling clips throughout. Proper preparation made the install clean and straightforward. Done once, done right.

Preparation

  • Floor fully self-levelled before any tile was laid
  • Substrate brought up flat and consistent across the full area
  • Layout set out carefully to avoid small cuts at edges and doorways

Detail

  • 300x600 porcelain tiles, brick-bond pattern
  • Mechanical levelling clips used throughout for a lippage-free finish
  • Consistent joint lines kept tight and even across the full floor

Result

  • Clean, even brick-bond layout across the full kitchen floor
  • Balanced cuts, good flow through the space
  • Solid, flat finish — no lippage, no movement
