How I Work

I’ve spent over 23 years tiling both commercial and residential spaces.
Today, I focus on delivering properly prepared, long-lasting work for homeowners who care about the finish and want the job done right — not rushed.

I keep things straightforward and transparent from start to finish.

1. Initial discussion

We talk through your project, timings, and expectations.

If it’s a good fit, I’ll arrange a visit to measure up properly.

2. Honest pricing

You’ll receive a clear, detailed quote based on:

Preparation required

Tile type and layout

Time needed to do the job properly

No vague estimates, no surprises.

3. Preparation first

Good tiling starts before the first tile goes down. I don’t rush prep — because that’s where failures come from.

4. The install

I work cleanly, methodically, and with respect for your home. Most jobs are completed in one continuous run where possible.

5. Handover

Once finished, everything is left clean and ready to use. Any aftercare advice is explained clearly

Professional Standards & TTA Membership

TTA Member Tiler – Warrington

I’m a vetted member of The Tile Association, the UK’s recognised tiling trade body.
Membership isn’t automatic.
It reflects experience, standards and accountability.
But the badge isn’t the point.
The standard is.

What That Means For You

Best-practice installation
Correct preparation
Suitable materials for the substrate
Proper assessment before work begins
Professional accountability throughout
Most failures come from shortcuts.
Preparation rushed.
Materials wrong.
Movement ignored.
That’s what standards are designed to prevent.

Personal, Accountable & Professional

Large firms often send a salesman first, then a team you’ve never met.

With me, the person you speak to from day one is the person doing the work.

TTA membership reinforces what I already believe in:

Do it properly.
Don’t cut corners.
Be accountable for the finish.
